With growing concerns over the spread of coronavirus, Texas could follow other states that have issued complete shut-downs and for people to stay at home.
So far California, New York, Illinois, and New Jersey have all issued "Stay at Home" orders. Ohio's Governor just announced a new stay at home order today, Sunday March 22nd.
Currently, all bars, clubs, restaurant dining rooms, and gyms are closed until April 3rd. Texas could follow California and other states that have issued "Stay At Home" orders if the virus continues to spread.
The Texas-Mexico border is closed for 30 days to all non-essential travel.
While the order would be restrictive on the amount of businesses that could be open, it would still allow for essential travel from home to grocery stores, pharmacies, hospitals, etc.
