The Governor issued a "stay at home" order for all residents in California. All essential stores such as grocery, pharmacies, banks, and takeout and delivery restaurants are allowed to remain open.
Despite the Stay At Home Order, California residents continue to go into work in 16 areas are that are already have shown cases of coronavirus.
“We need to bend the curve in the state of California,” Governor Newsom stated in a press conference.
As the amount of cases continue to grow, the governments response continues to get more and more restrictive.
The Stay At Home order is in effect until further notice, and it could be extended as long as necessary if people continue to go out.
