Just behind Nevada, Texas ranked second for the most sinful state in the entire nation.
WalletHub compared all 50 states across seven factors to determine the most sinful states: 1) Anger & Hatred, 2) Jealousy, 3) Excesses & Vices, 4) Greed, 5) Lust, 6) Vanity and 7) Laziness.
It was pretty surprising how Texas ranked factor by factor:
Anger & hatred- Texas Ranked 19th/50th
We might get angry if you talk trash about our flag, our state, our Whataburger, or momma.
Jealousy- Texas ranked 8th/50th
We don't really understand this one. We're not jealous of anyone or anything, we love Texas and wouldn't want to move anywhere. In fact, people are pouring into our state at one of the highest rates of any state.
Excess & Vices- Texas ranked 36th/50th
Greed- Texas ranked 28th/50th
Lust- Texas ranked NUMBER 1 out of 50
Welp, we can't defend this one. There are pretty good lookin' Texans out there.
Vanity- Texas ranked 6th/50th
Alright alright alright, perhaps this one is a bit accurate. Texas proud.
Laziness- Texas ranked 24th/50th
We sure as heck aren't lazy. This one should be 50th out of 50th. We work hard and we earn what we've got.
