Healthcare workers are risking their own lives to assist with the global crisis, and right here in our home state healthcare workers go into work every day to keep us safe.

H-E-B decided to deliver 75,000 of the "Meal Simple" meals, to healthcare workers working directly with COVID-19 patients across the Lone Star state according to KENS5. This includes Doctors, Nurses, Emergency Room staff, and other healthcare professionals at the forefront of the pandemic.

H-E-B is doing a ton of good for our communities across the state. They even pledged $3 Million in financial assistance to organizations.

According to H-E-B, some of these organizations are dedicated to mobilized home feeding services for seniors and low-income families such as Meals on Wheels.

H-E-B’s Hunger Relief Program is going to donate $1.2 million that will financially support 18 food banks across Texas totaling 6 million meals.

On top of that, 15 truckloads of food and household supplies will be delivered to the various food banks across the state.
