The Governor of Texas Said He Won't Shut Down the State Again

No more lockdowns are on the horizon for Texas despite the growing number of COVID-19 cases.

As more coronavirus cases continue to spike across the nation, some states are shutting down again- affecting local businesses and restaurants severely. Many Republican-led states are not vowing to shut down again as the economic consequences have been catastrophic.

With the holidays fast approaching- Governor Abbott made a statement that no more lockdowns are on the horizon. The initial shut down caused a huge hardship on many family-owned companies across Texas.

The rate of travel based on the number of people going through TSA checkpoints at Texas airports is still less than a quarter of what it used to be in 2019.
