Dallas County Reported No Coronavirus Deaths and Decreasing Cases Today


This is the first day since May 10th that the county hasn't had any deaths from the pandemic.

According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Dallas county had 8,998 cases and 211 deaths so far.


As cases begin to dwindle across the state, Texas' leaders are still urging residents to use caution as the state reopens the economy.


With bars opening, restaurants increasing their capacity, and entertainment venues allowed to reopen, many are fearful of a second wave of the virus spreading.

Moore County has had the highest infection rate of COVID-19 in the state of Texas, largely due to an outbreak in a meat packing plant. This is an astounding 14 times higher than Harris county which has the highest amount of population.
