Cedar levels are at historic highs across the State of Texas- causing major allergy problems for thousands of Texans State-wide.
The Allergy & Asthma Center of Georgetown measured 27,639 grains of cedar per cubic meter of air. This is among the highest counts of Cedar ever recorded in the Austin area since the mid-1990s when 32,000 grains were measured.
Symptoms of Cedar Allergies include: runny nose, itchy watery eyes, and nasal blockage. In more severe cases people have cited headaches, fatigue, partial loss of smell and ear plugging.
