A Fort Worth based brewing company brewed beer with Buc-ee's Beaver Nuggets...and it didn't last long on the shelf.
Panther Island Brewing company brewed a limited amount of of brown ale made with Buc-ee's Beaver Nuggets. According to the Dallas Morning News, lead brewer Ryan McWhorther said the availability of the beer was "extremely limited" and only inside their Fort Worth based Tap-Room.
As soon as they opened it up for sale, the beer was essentially gone. It's no surprise that the new beer was a huge hit as Texans all over the Lone Star State love Buc-ee's and the highly sought after Beaver Nuggets.
The beer tastes similar to maple and toasted caramel, with a 6% ABV.
The Panther Island Brewing Company plans to make more since it was so popular, however Buc-ee's has not endorsed the making of the beer or made plans for distribution of it.
While the first batch was only 12 gallons, we expect to see much larger quantities of the specialty beer brewed in the future given the amount of popularity from the inaugural brew.
