Bars in Texas are Allowed to Reopen This Friday May 22nd

The Governor of Texas just announced that bars will be allowed to reopen on Friday May 22nd, but with some restrictions.

Bars across the Lone Star State can open at only 25% capacity. Restaurants can now open up to 50% capacity. According to Governor Abbott, breweries, wineries and wine tastings are included as well under the new restrictions.

This is Phase 2 of the plan to reopen Texas. The second phase also includes the following entertainment establishments to open up again:

-Bowling alleys



-Bingo halls

-Natural caverns

-Rodeos/Equestrian events

-Skating rinks

Professional Sporting Events may be able to happen again on May 31st or later.
